Fowl Foolers Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I order Fowl Foolers products?
A: You can order our decoys at this website, you can call us at 419-960-7307, you can email info@fowlfoolers.com, or you can stop in and see us at 2435 E. Gill Rd, Port Clinton, OH 43452. Our products are coming soon to stores near you, so please check back often. We also attend many waterfowl festivals, so look for us there as well.
Q: Why do you burlap wrap your decoys?
A: Burlap wrapping our foam decoys makes them nearly indestructible. They can take a shot without listing or sinking, unlike plastic decoys. The burlap pattern gives a feather appearance and the burlap texture provides grip which prevents your anchor line from slipping off of the decoy. If you want to hunt over your decoys for decades, these are the decoys for you.
Q: Where are these decoys made?
A: Fowl Foolers decoys and calls are made right here in Port Clinton, Ohio. We take pride in the fact that we are an American Made company and we keep any business we do in the United States of America.
Q: Do you rewrap/repaint decoys?
A: Yes. We have rewrapped and repainted old Herter’s decoys and old Fowl Foolers decoys. We see a decoy spread as an investment which can last a lifetime and passed on to the next generation. We can help you bring new life into your old decoys so that you can continue to use them for decades to come. Click here to see pictures of old Herter’s decoys that have been rewrapped and repainted.
Q: The waterfowl I want to hunt is not listed on your website/catalog. Can you still make it?
Yes. So far we have made custom orders of brants, ringneck ducks, and gadwalls. If you’d like to send us a picture you like of the particular waterfowl, we would be happy to work from that.
Q: Do you make your calls?
A: We currently have suppliers in the United States who make our calls based on our designs. All calls are assembled and tuned in Port Clinton, Ohio.
